His gift of communication combined with his ability to cast vision all while modeling that family and a personal faith MUST be the priority has resulted in our BEST life. • MY STORY

My name is Rachelle. I am a midwestern gal. I grew up in southern Illinois, upon meeting my prince charming in college, I moved to northern Illinois and spent the first decade of my adult life as K/1 teacher, new mama and wife to a youth minister.

During the next decade, I built a successful marketing business, raised two boys, and ...

In that second decade of our adult lives, along with raising a family, moving to a new town and starting a new career, Nate and I birthed and raised another baby: an itty-bitty church. We planted a church! It grew. We grew.

Have you ever thought about...If you could go back and have a baby after you have already raised a child, you know how you would just want to do some things differently? Like you would know what NOT to worry about, and what TO focus on?

It is by far the BEST and the HARDEST thing we could have ever agreed to do. I look back and cannot believe it. Was that me? Was that us?

No, it was God. He knew where he was taking our family. He knew what skills he needed to draw out and develop in me. He saw all of my weaknesses, and because I was willing, he started to work on them.

    IT. WAS. PAINFUL.

I learned what it REALLY meant to be willing to fail daily, and what it means to fully trust in Him.

As clearly as he drew me to that business, to our church, just as clearly, I knew he was telling me to expand beyond it. However, I am not 30 anymore. I wasn’t ready to give up my security or what I was good at doing.

So I fought Him. I knew he was pulling me towards something else. I just didn’t know what it was.

So, just like I did 17 years ago, I am dipping my toes back into life and saying, “Here I am Lord, take me.”

I feel God whispering, "What about those dreams?" "You know the ones where you are using your gift of speaking and teaching? The dreams of helping of speaking belief and truth into others?"

The reality is, I don’t understand much. I do know, without a doubt, I am where God designed me to be; and the only thing I know for sure is... it is going to be an adventure.
